Pay-per-use
-
Flexibility
Users can scale the database system according to their needs and business growth. This means they can increase or decrease the database capacity based on changing requirements. This flexibility allows you to adapt to your needs and save costs -
No Cost for Physical Hardware
Pay-per-Use model helps reduce the need for investment in creating and maintaining your own database infrastructure. You don't have to invest in hardware, servers, data backup, or other resources necessary for database management -
User-Friendly
Offers a user-friendly management and monitoring system. Users can manage databases through a simple web interface, making it easy to access and monitor usage, costs, and performance statistics
Database
-
MariaDB
MariaDB can support depends on the capabilities of the storage space, RAM, and CPU of the server being used. If there is a low level of usage selected, the capacity to support connections might not be substantial -
PostgreSQL
There is flexibility in resizing the database and RAM according to the customer's requirements. However, each service provider may have limitations on the number of connections that can be supported. These limitations might be based on the package or plan that the customer chooses -

Managed Services
-
Professional Team
Managed services will receive assistance and guidance from a team of technical experts, ensuring that you can be confident your system is professionally taken care of -
Easy to Use
You no longer need to worry about system reliability, as there will be a team of technical experts overseeing and performing upgrades for you -
Save Cost
Reduce expenses on purchasing hardware and software, as well as service costs. Customers only pay a single fee and don't need to allocate additional internal resources and personnel for system management -
Security
Security management and updates in place, ensuring customer data is secure from intrusion and cyber attacks
Virtual Private Cloud
-
VPC - Virtual Private Cloud
Creating a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in the Inspace Cloud Portal that you are using. A VPC is a private and controlled virtual network that allows you to define your own connectivity criteria -
Private Subnet
Private Subnet as part of the VPC. This subnet will host the Database Server, ensuring its privacy and preventing public access -
Access Control
Verify the security settings for accessing the Managed Service Database system in the VPC configuration you have set up. Ensure that permissions and access rights are configured according to your requirements
Failover Node
-
Database Failover Node
Inspace managed services offer an option to create a PostgreSQL 1-node failover setup, enhancing the service's reliability and minimizing downtime. The system continually monitors the status of the primary database. If any issues arise that prevent the primary database from functioning properly, the Database Failover Node that you've configured will be activated, allowing the database to operate on this node. This setup ensures a seamless transition and uninterrupted service provision -
No Failover Node
The option of "No failover node" from Inspace provides the advantage of cost savings and is suitable for usage scenarios like User Acceptance Testing (UAT). If you choose not to have a Failover Node in your database setup, it means that in case the primary database encounters issues or failures, there won't be a backup source available to quickly restore stability and operational readiness for the database system. As a result, there could be periods during which the database service is unavailable
PostgreSQL
-
Highly Trusted
Highly trusted database system. With numerous advantages, PostgreSQL is an appealing choice for database usage -
Reliability and Stability
PostgreSQL is a popular and actively developed database system that is maintained and supported by a large community of users and developers. It receives continuous updates and bug fixes to ensure a stable and reliable database system for long-term usage -
Efficiency and high-speed performance
Customization options available to enhance performance according to specific requirements, including efficient caching and load balancing. These measures aim to achieve efficient data processing and resource optimization for faster and more resource-effective operations
Why MariaDB ?
-
Suitability
MariaDB is a database management system developed from MySQL and is a highly compatible version. This means that the code and SQL commands written for MySQL can largely work with MariaDB without requiring significant modifications. Additionally, MariaDB offers feature enhancements and improvements to align with the needs of users operating in more complex environments -
Efficiency
High speed and efficiency. Being a parallel database server and supporting multi-threading allows it to accommodate high levels of concurrent access. Moreover, MariaDB continually improves and customizes its operations and command processing to enhance overall performance -
Flexibility
Customize the database system to fit your needs. You can configure user permissions, set up data backup settings, define encryption preferences, and other features according to your requirements

What is DBaaS ?
-
DBaaS (Database as a Service)
DBaaS is a form of cloud service that allows users to rent and use databases over the internet or connect them to cloud compute via Virtual Private Cloud for secure connectivity. In Inspace Cloud, we manage the database system for users. Generally, DBaaS offers flexibility in choosing and scaling databases according to user needs. Behind the scenes, databases are often run on platforms like Virtual Machines, Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Furthermore, DBaaS also provides scalability where users can adjust the size of the database. Users can scale up or down based on their needs and business growth. This flexibility enables adaptation to changes in usage and business growth
